Dynamics are instructions to play louder or more quiet. There are two different dynamic possibilities: stepwise dynamics and gradually changing dynamics. The stepwise dynamics like p, mf and ff can be inserted using the dynamics menu. crescendo written as text should be inserted as music direction text, whereas the wedge-shaped crescendo/decrescendo should be inserted with the line-menu
Dynamic articulation may be used to emphasize a single note in a certain way: marcato , tenuto (-) and accent (>)
