The cursor is the pointer MusiCAD will use to represent the current position where actions will take place. Depending of the situation the cursor may have a different shape.

Cursor movement:

move the cursor to the end of the line. |
<Page Up> |
move the cursor to the previous 'line'. |

move the cursor to the next 'line'. |
<ctrl-home> |
move the cursor to the last bar of the melody |
<ctrl-end> |
move the cursor to the first bar of the melody |
When moving the cursor up or down with <>, <> you can make the cursor point to the position where you want the new note to be inserted with <Enter>.
