Common meter is an abbreviation of a 4-beat meter and is denoted with a

Divided common meter is written as

may be entered using two zeroes before the meter: 002/4
MusiCAD will show divided common meter for any meter notation that is prepended with two zeroes 004/4. In automated accompaniment parts divided common meter will cause a double pulse in each bar.
